Club Fundraisers

If you would like ideas for fundraisers your club can use to raise funds for local charity projects or the Civitan International Research Center, check out our fundraising booklet, Successful Civitan Fundraisers. Click here to view it for free in PDF format. You can also order copies from the Civitan Supply House.

Santa Dollar / Bunny Bucks
These seasonal fundraising programs partner clubs with a local retailer to sell U.S. currency with a picture of Santa or the Easter Bunny in place of George Washington. This program has been very successful for the Birmingham Civitan Club, and many other non-profit groups around the country. Visit their website at www.santadollars.com for more information.

Sam's Club Grants
While you're at Sam's Club picking up your Candy Box mints, apply for the Sam's Club Foundation Matching Grants. Each location can match up to $1,000 of your club's fundraising for the Civitan International Foundation, or your local 501(c)(3) organization. Check with your local Sam's Club for more information.

United Way Designated Funds
Millions of American workers make paycheck contributions to the United Way. The Civitan International Foundation, or your foundation, can become a designated organization; meaning local workers can contribute to your organization through their paychecks! Each local United Way organization has its own application, so click here to find the office near you!
